Take Home Therapies

Intermediate

Generally after working with clients, I will recommend take-home therapies, products, or books that will help assist them on their rehabilitation journey. These will include yoga stretches, KT taping, kinesthetic stretches, Tiger Balm, and Epsom salts soaks.

Stretching

Advanced

As the U.S. has slowly started to incorporate more eastern medicine, Yoga and stretching techniques have become more commonplace. As an LMT, I have certifications in AIS (active isolated stretching) and PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) stretching. Both are great assets to help clients, especially athletes, achieve their flexibility goals.

Kinesiology Therapy Taping

Intermediate

KT taping is one of my favorite techniques to help assist my clients with their recovery phase. While it can be used as a "stand alone" therapy, I rarely use it as one. Using KT tape after massage or stretching helps to prolong the effects of the therapies. You can read more about KT taping on my "KT taping" page, linked below.

Massage Events

Advanced

From chiropractic conventions to golf tournaments, I have been a part of many different massage events. Generally speaking, when working an event, I focus on short stretching sessions. I utilize AIS (active isolated stretching), PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) stretching, and KT (kinesiotherapy therapy) taping to help assist my clients.
