Rock Climbing
What better way to keep the family active than to climb a bunch of rocks? Recently, I have begun working on overcoming my fear of heights by learning to rock climb. I have slowly worked my way up from the 15 foot wall, and am steadily increasing my climbing abilities. I am also a certified belayer at our local climbing facility, and love pushing myself to achieve even the smallest increase. It has been an extremely rewarding endeavor.

Dungeons and Dragons
Having four kids in the household can be a challenge sometimes when it comes to keeping the masses entertained. While we play many board games, the kids have recently enjoyed getting to play dungeons and dragons with us. I was introduced to the D&D world back in 2019, and fell in love. Combining roleplaying, creativity, and math, D&D is a wonderful outlet for anyone to explore their interests. I am somewhat of a dice goblin, meaning that I collect dice of all kinds, and have over 50 sets.

Miniature Painting
I love to keep myself and my hands busy, even when watching tv or relaxing at the end of the night. From cross stitching to sewing to painting, my hands are never still. One of my favorite things to do is painting miniature figurines. Generally, these are used for our D&D sessions. The picture above shows some miniatures I painted for an Avatar: The Last Airbender one shot I dm'ed for some of our friends while out in California. We were even able to gift the Zuko miniature to Dante Basco, who voiced the character in the animated tv series.

Mugs
Outside of hobbies such as D&D and rock climbing, I am also a collector of sorts. I collect dice sets and paraphernalia related to my favorite fandoms, but my largest collection by far is my mug collection. I collect mugs of all shapes and sizes, especially those that have my favorite characters on them. I have over 100 mugs currently, and obviously plan on collecting more.
